HomeTalk Choice

HomeTalk Choice Switched on is happy to give you all the choices you want. From $59.90 per month, we'll give you the same great call rates on as the saver, and up it to $40 every month to go towards you local, national and mobile calls. The choice is easy when you're Switched On.

Included call value is only valid for calls made to standard Australian fixed and mobile numbers, and international numbers. Calls made to 13/1300, 1900, Sensis, message bank and other call types are not included and will be charged in addition to your monthly access fee.

Local Calls

20c p/call - untimed.

National Calls

20c p/minute to all national fixed lines. Call charges are limited at $2 for the first 60 minutes and then continue to charge at 20 cents per minute thereafter.

Cost of a 2 minute standard national call is 85 cents, including 45 cent flagfall.

Mobile Calls

35c p/minute to all Australian national mobiles. Call charges are limited at $2 for the first 15 minutes and then continue to charge at 35 cents per minute thereafter.

Cost of a 2 minute standard Mobile call is $1.15, including 45 cent flagfall.

International

The Top 7 international destinations 14c p/minute. These are Canada, China, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, and USA.

Calls made to all other International locations are charged at their standard rates. You can find our entire call rates list here.

Premium Numbers

Calls made to 13/1300 numbers are charged at 45c p/call.

Calls made to all other premium number types (e.g. 1900 or Sensis 1234) are charged at rates set by the holder of the premium number. Please ensure to check all costs with the premium number service prior to making calls of this type.

Flagfall

All timed calls (including national & mobiles) incur a Standard Call Connection Cost of 41c p/call.

  • Things You Need to Know

    General Terms

    
    • All timed calls are billed in 60 second blocks.
    • Early Termination Fee: $30 for every month remaining in the term of your 24-Month Agreement.
    • Monthly Included Value can be used for the following call types:standard fixed Australian lines, Australian mobile numbers, and calls to international numbers only.
    • A payment processing fee is charged for Switched On bills paid by credit card/direct debit. For Visa, MasterCard the rate is 1.6% of the payment amount, INC GST. For Diners Club the rate is 3.5% of the payment amount, INC GST. Visit our Bill Payment Fees FAQ for more information on this fee and the exemptions that may be available to you.
    • Where an additional telephone service is required but all ports for telephone services are occupied, an additional ONT will need to be installed. This will be treated as a new service.
    • All sensis calls are excluded from any included credit and are charged on top of the monthly access fee.
    • All charges quoted are inclusive of GST.

    General Fees & Charges

    
    • A payment processing fee is charged for all Switched On bills not paid by direct debit. For Visa/MasterCard the rate is 2% of the payment amount, INC GST. For Diners Club/American Express the rate is 3.9% of the payment amount, INC GST. BPay and Post Office payment methods also incur additional charges.     • An Early Termination Fees (ETF) applies for any cancellations prior to the contract termination date. The ETF is calculated at $30 multipled by the months remaining in your contract term. The maximum ETF you will pay is $720.
    • A fee of $20 may apply when switching to another plan, or for NBN booster packs applied after the contract has commenced.
    • A paper billing fee of $2.50 is applicable for all printed invoices. Switched On offers a free e-billing service to send you your monthly invoice electornically, helping to save paper and the enviornment.
